As per the announcement of ICC, T20 WC 2024 will be Jointly held in the West Indies and the USA between 1st June and 29th June 2024. A total of 20 teams will be participating in this season of the T20 WC to compete for the title. These 20 Teams are placed in Groups A, B, C, and D.

The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 has been divided into two stages.
Group Stage
The First Stage of this T20 World Cup 2024 is called the Group stage which consists of 20 teams. India, Pakistan, Ireland, Canada, and the USA are placed in Group A. Whereas England, Australia, Scotland, Namibia, and Oman occupy the B Group. On the other hand, New Zealand, West Indies, Afghanistan, Uganda, and Papua New Guinea make up the Group C. South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Netherlands, and Nepal are in Group D.
