Just In! Cricket Australia has announced Australia Team Squad for T20 World Cup today. As per the announcement of the Australian cricket Board, Aaron Finch will captain Australia in T20 WC 2022. Apart from it, many other star players like David Warner, Steve Smith, Glenn Maxwell, Mitchell Starc and Pat Cumming have also been included in the Australia team squad. Cricket Australia broke this news on the internet today.

Australia Team Squad for T20 World Cup 2022
The defending champions of T20 World Cup 2022 are going to host the 8th season of T20 WC in October. Australia has won ICC Cricket World Cup five times setting a record, but the Kangaroos laid hands on a T20 World Cup title in the last season. They are the defending champions in this season of the T20 World Cup. This is why Cricket Australia have been specially preparing for the 8th T20 World Cup edition.
Steve Smith, David Warner and Pat Cumming are among the Big names to play for Australia in the T20 World Cup 2022. Bowling Specialist Nathan Ellis has also been named in alongside with Dan Christian and Daniel Sams as Travelling reserves for the tournament.
Whereas, Jhye Richardson, Andrew Tye and Jason Behrendorff will be taking charge of Bowling side in the mega T20 Cricket tournament. Apart from it Alex Carey, Moises Henriques, Josh Philippe and Ashton Turner are also in the Australia’s 15 member T20 World Cup 2022 squad.
While speaking to press, Australian Selection Chair George Baily Said:
“Josh has been on our radar for some time with his performances in white ball cricket and more recently in the Vitality Blast where he topped the run charts,” selection chair George Bailey said.
“He offers the squad flexibility in the batting order with his adaptability, counterattacking ability and power striking. He is a player we are excited about for the future.”
“Mitchell has been impressive with the opportunities he has had.
“Given the amount of cricket being played at the World Cup venues, we expect the wickets in the UAE to favour slow bowling, particularly in the latter stages, so he gives us another strong leg-spin option.”
ICC T20 World Cup is scheduled to be played from 16th October 2022 in Australia. All the participating teams are making final arrangements for this mega tournament. In this regard, Cricket Australia announce their 15 Member Team Squad.
