PCB Signs a three Year Contract (2021-2023) with Sony Pictures Network for PSL Broadcast in India

Just In! PCB has signed a three Year Contract with Sony Pictures Netwrok for PSL Broadcast in India from 2021 to 2023. Therefore, Sony Six and Sony Six HD will live telecast all 34 PSL 2021 matches in India . Apart from it, PCB also awarded all the home international Cricket Broadcast rights to the Sony Pictures Network in India.

Sony Six PSL 2021 Broadcast in India

Sony Six and Sony Ten 3 to live telecast all 34 PSL 2021 matches in India. The official Twitter handle of Pakistan Cricket Board broke this news to internet on 25th January 2021.

Speaking to the Press PCB CEO Wasim Khan Said:

“The PCB welcomes Sony Pictures Networks India to its list of elite broadcasters who will have rights to Pakistan’s bilateral series and HBL PSL 2021-2023,”

“Through this partnership, cricket fans in South Asia will be able to follow and enjoy high-quality cricket action in Pakistan across all formats featuring some of the finest modern-day stars.

Rajesh Kaul, Chief Executive Officer of Sony Pictures Network Said:

Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN) has acquired the broadcast rights of the Pakistan Cricket Board for a tenure of three years. SPN will air all of Pakistan’s home international games along with the HBL Pakistan Super League.

Earlier on, Sony Pictures India held PSL Broadcast Rights from 2016–2018. Later, PCB awarded PSL Broadcast rights to EuroSport from 2018-2020. However, EuroSport backed off from PSL 2019 Broadcast in India due to the rising tensions between India and Pakistan. Now, the circumstances are coming back to normal again and Sony Pictures Network India earns the PSL 2021 Broadcast rights in India.
