Finally, the time has come for which all the Pakistani cricket fans were eagerly waiting for. Pakistan takes on the Netherlands in their first ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. The news from the Rajvi Gandi Cricket Stadium, Ahmedabad is that the Netherlands have won the toss and invited Pakistan to bat first. Pakistan have made one change in their Playing XI as Hassan Ali comes in for Mohammad Waseen Jr.

While speaking to the Rmaij Raja in the Toss Ceremony Babar Azam Said:

We will try our best with the bat. We believe in our openers, Imam and Fakhar. Shaheen is there as well. Hasan is back in the side. We are looking at 290-300 plus.

Whereas, Scott Edwards also spoke to Ramiz:

We will bowl first, might get a little bit easier under lights. We got some quality bowlers and spinners who can bowl in the powerplay. For us it’s about adjusting and see how the pitch is playing.
