The Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced the Schedule for IPL 2020. According to this announcement, the 13th Season of Indian Premier League is going to be held from 19th September to 10th November 2020 in UAE. Eight teams are said to be participating in this season of IPL. A total of 60 matches including final are going to be played in IPL 13. IPL 2020 Schedule
Well, at last the news is out for all those enthusiastic Indian cricket fans who are eagerly waiting for IPL 2020. The most popular T20 Cricket League is coming back to fill Cricket Stadium in India. This is going to be a great event for Indian Cricket fans, as IPL 2020 will start from 19th September 2020 in UAE. The Defending Champions Mumbai Indian will meet Chennai Super Kings in the 1st match for IPL 2020 on 19th September at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
League Format
The Schedule of 13th Season of Indian Premier League have been divided into two two stage. The first Stage is called League stage. Each team will take on other opponent teams in this stage in double round robin format. The second stage is called play off stage. The top four teams finishing high in the group stage will qualify for this stage. Where, they will meet opponent teams to qualify for the final.

Eight teams have been finalized by the BCCI to participate in this season of Indian Premier League. These teams include Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals, Kings XI Punjab, Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Bengalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad. Whereas, Mumbai Indians are the defending Champions in IPL 13 season. All these teams have completed their teams squad in IPL 2020 Draft held on 19th December 2019 in Mumbai.

Chennai Super Kings Team Squad
Chennai Super Kings are one of the original teams which took part in the debuting season of Indian Premier League in 2008. They came 2nd in the opening season on IPL. But, reached the semi finals in 2009. However, CSK held the IPL title for two consecutive years from 2010 to 2011. Following two years for CSK fans were so saddening when they finished as runner up in 2012 and 2013.
Sadly, Chennai Super Kings were suspended for 2016 to 2017 over the match fixing charges and corruption. However, 2018 marked the return of CSK in IPL and in the same year they reclaimed back their IPL title. However, they lost the IPL once again in the coming year to Mumbai Indians.
