Abbas Afridi gets drafted to Karachi Kings for PSL 2021

Just In! Abbas Afridi who featured in ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2020, has been drafted to Karachi Kings for PSL 2021. KK had reserved the 18th player slot in the PSL 2021 draft and now they have chosen Abbas Afridi as their 18th player. The official twitter handle of Pakistan Super League broke this news to the internet.

Abbas is just another Afridi who has been included in the PSL Players lift, before him two other Afridis are already playing in Pakistan Super League. One is Shahid Afridi who is playing for Multan Sultans, and the second is Shaheen Shah Afridi who is part of Lahore Qalandars in PSL 2021. Now, a third Afridi is also included in the PSL 6 season.

Abbas remained the leading wicket taker in ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2020 for Pakistan. He has got some serious bowling skills. Hid addition, can be a good omen for Karachi Kings who are the defending champions in PSL 2021.

PSL 2021 is all set to be held in Pakistan from 20th February 2021. All the Franchise teams are making final arrangements for the 6th season of Pakistan super League. In this regard, Karachi Kings draft Abbas Afridi as 18th player in their team squad.
