Colin Munro to Miss PSL 2021 due to New Zealand’s quarantine rules

Just In! Clolin Munro will miss PSL 2021 matches due to New Zealand’s quarantine rules. The New Zealander T20 Star Specialist, who was recently retained by Islamabad United in the PSL 2021 draft, has made clear that he will be unavailable to the Islu for PSL 6 matches.

Speaking to the press, Colin Munro Said about Islamabad United:

“I’m very disappointed to be missing out because Islamabad were really good to me.

“They retained me knowing I was going to go there straight after the Big Bash, but I just couldn’t get any quarantine booked in time.

The new New Zealand’s Law requires its citizens to book the Quarantine Slots in advance. However, Munro delayed his booking and now it seems like he will not be getting any. Due to these logistics issues, Colin Munro has declared that he will not participate in PSL 2021.

This is a huge set back to the Islamabad United, as they retained Munro who scored 258 runs for the team in the previous season.

PSL 2021 is all set to start from 20th February 2021. Islamabad United are participating in the 6th Season of Pakistan Super League. They held Colin Munro in the PSL 2021 Draft, but now Munro has announced He will not be available to them.
