PCB Announces Pakistan Team Squad for T20 Series against Sri Lanka

Just In! Pakistan Cricket Board has announced Pakistan Team Squad for up coming T20 Series against Sri Lanka. Sarfraz Ahmed will lead the 16 Member Pakistan Team Squad in the T20 Series at home. Babar Azam will be the Vice Captain of Green Team, meanwhile Pakistan has also recalled Ahmed Shehzad and Umar Akmal for this T20 Series. Chief Selector and Head Coach Misbahulhaq spoke to the press, announcing Pakistan Team Squad for T20 Series:

Pakistan Team Squad for T20 Series against Sri Lanka

Ahmed Shehzad, Umar Akmal and all rounder Faheem Ashraf have replaced Abid Ali, Imamul Haq and Mohammad Rizwan from the ODI squad against Sri Lanka. All these three players starred previously in the PSL 2019 season. Ahmed Shehzad scored 311 runs in PSL 4 with an oustanding average of 50+ runs. Whereas, Umar Akmal had a successful T20 League season of Canada T20 Blast and Euro T20 Slam.

Sarfaraz Ahmed (C & WK), Babar Azam (VC), Ahmed Shehzad, Asif Ali, Faheem Ashraf, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Sohail, Iftikhar Ahmed, Imad Wasim, Mohammad Amir, Mohammad Hasnain, Mohammad Nawaz, Shadab Khan, Umar Akmal, Usman Shinwari, Wahab Riaz.

This T20 Series Pakistan vs Sri Lanka will start from 5th October. Pakistan will host three T20 matches against Sri Lanka at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore on 5th, 7th and 9th October. Earlier on, Pakistan whitewashed Sri Lanka in the three match ODI series by 2-0.
