Sam suffered a back pain after Chennai Super Kings vs Rajhastan Royals match today. Now, the reports have revealed a back injury. Sam Curran ruled out of ICC T20 World Cup 2021

England are hit with a the third major blow after Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer are missing from their T20 World Cup 2021 squad. Sam Curran has always been a handy player to England with his bowling and batting skills. Now, he is going to miss T20 World Cup 2021 tournament.

Sam Curran was drafted by Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2021. He is currently in India playing IPL for Chennai Super Kings. After the match today against Rajasthan Royals, he felt severe back pain. He was immediately sent to a hospital fro further scan. The scan reports revealed a back injury.

He will now skip IPL 2021 and will fly back to England and wait for a full review from ECB’s Medical team. This is a shocking news for English cricket fans who are already dealing with the absence of Jofra Archer and Ben Stokes.

ICC T20 World Cup 2021 is starting from 17th October in Oman and UAE. England are one of the top eight teams that directly made it to the Super 12 stage of T20 WC 2021.
